Shipping, Returns and Other Policies

At Lone Tree Candle Company, we make every effort to ensure each of our candles are exactly as you expect, however each of our candles are handmade and no two are exactly alike. Our handmade process is undertaken with pride and with the ultimate goal that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with your purchase or it arrived damaged or defective, please see our Returns and Exchanges policies below.


Please contact us by email at within 5 business days of receiving your order to initiate a return. If 5 business days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Any item not in its original condition, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error will not be accepted for return. Shipping costs are not refundable and will be deducted from any approved refund; the customer shall be solely responsible for packaging and shipping the item back to Lone Tree Candle Company in a manner to assure it is received without damage and in its original condition.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days less the cost of shipping.


We only replace items if they are defective or damaged and a request is made within 5 days of receipt of the order. In the event your order is damaged during the shipping process, the item will only be replaced if you retain the original packaging and cooperate with Lone Tree Candle Company in the filing of a claim with the shipping company. PLEASE NOTE:  We do not offer exchanges due to scent preferences or mistakes by the purchaser in the ordering process for which we are not at fault.



You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Special Orders and Wholesale Orders

These provisions do not apply to special orders and wholesale transactions. We do not accept returns for special orders or wholesale orders and will only issue a refund or replacement if an item arrives damaged during shipping and you cooperate with Lone Tree Candle Company in the filing of a claim with the shipping company.
