Lone Tree Candle Company came about by a desire to embrace creativity with a love
for the outdoors. Always loving the soft glow of a candle, its subtle aroma
filling the air and the memories often invoked, creating candles from the
ground up seemed to be the perfect duo. Nestled between the majestic Sierra
Nevada mountain range and the Inyo White Mountains, home for Lone Tree Candle
Company is in California’s deepest valley. Outside our front door are the
oldest, highest, and lowest points in the continental United States, revealing
the vastness, diversity, and individuality only nature can offer.

Inspired by a favorite photograph of a lone
tree perched on a ridge far above a beautiful canyon, Lone Tree Candle Company incorporates
the beauty and strength of that tree and all that surrounds us. With visions of
the sand dunes in Death Valley, the granite faces of the mountain peaks of the
Sierra Nevada and the wind-whipped, snarled form of an ancient bristlecone
pine, we started with the vessel. Each concrete container is handmade, with no
two exactly alike, reflecting its own natural patina. Using natural candle wax
was a given and soy and coconut-soy waxes allow for a long burning and aromatic
candle. The scents of the great outdoors seldom overpower our senses but
instead provide a beautiful yet delicate bouquets. Our fragrances are subtle
blends that evoke shared memories of favorite experiences - a hike in the
mountains, a picnic amongst wildflowers, a day at the beach, a stroll after the
